PRINT WITH COLOR! If you’re not equipped at home to print with color and need a large volume of lost pet flyers, consider using a printing shop like Office Max or FedEx. We’ve provided links below for easy access to pet recovery templates that you can edit to create your own flyers. Once you’ve customized your flyer, simply download it to make it easy to upload to Officemax.com or Office.Fedex.com.
Click on the flyer that you'd like to use.
Click "Use Template For New Design"
Edit the descriptive text (Breed of dog, weight, and any distinctive markings)
Edit your phone number (Double-check to ensure it's correct!)
Click on "Uploads" in the left-hand toolbar
Click "Upload Files"
Find the photo of your pup that you'd like to use (We recommend a full standing photo of your dog. If you don't have one, that's fine; use a photo that best represents your dog. Photos of just your dog's face don't offer the public a complete view of what your dog looks like.)
You should see your photo populate in your uploads.
Click on your newly loaded photo and drag & drop it into the frame within the flyer.
Click "Share" in the top right-hand corner.
Click "Download"
File type should be "PDF Print"
Color profile should be "CMYK". If you're unable to select CMYK, it's acceptable to choose RGB.
Click "Download"
Now save the document to your computer.
You are now READY TO PRINT!
We recommend using 32lb-65lb paper depending on your budget. Keep your lost pet flyers basic; additional details are not necessary. The goal is for the public to recognize your dog, know that it’s missing, and have a contact number to call if they see your pet.
We suggest putting up at least 100 flyers within a 2-mile radius of where your dog went missing. Flyers should be straightforward. If you don’t receive any reported sightings within the first 7 days after your dog goes missing, we recommend expanding your search area to 3-4 miles and ideally distributing 100 flyers for each mile you expand.
