We Help At-Risk Abandoned Dogs

Some dogs aren’t just “strays.”
Some are starving. Some are injured. Some are pregnant or nursing.
Some are out there tonight with no chance of surviving without help.

Red Collar Rescue & Recovery steps in for these at‑risk stray dogs—the ones who truly cannot wait. But we can’t do it alone.

We don’t have internal fosters. We’re a humane trapping team.

"At Risk" to us means the dog is injured, starving, pregnant or in immediate danger.

To save an at‑risk stray, we must have a safe place for that dog to land BEFORE we can rescue.

🧡 Two Ways a Dog Can Be Saved

1️⃣ A PACC‑approved community foster
If you’re willing to open your home, PACC makes it possible—and we’ll walk with you every step of the way. Becoming approved is easier than you think, and it’s the key that unlocks rescue resources.

2️⃣ A committed 501(c)(3) rescue partner
If your rescue is ready to take in an at‑risk stray, fill out the form below and we’ll connect with you to build a safe, strategic trapping plan.

Once a foster or rescue is in place, the magic can happen.
Without that commitment, our hands—and the dog’s fate—are tied.

If your heart is tugging at you… if you’ve been thinking about fostering… this is your sign.
A dog out there needs someone to raise their hand.

PACC (Pima Animal Care Center) will provide supplies and food as available and are committed to providing ongoing medical care during the foster relationship.
