Volunteer

We offer comprehensive training, so if you have a passion or interest in a specific role or several, we invite you to complete our volunteer application! We offer complete training for all our volunteer roles, ensuring you feel confident & well-equipped to be a part of our amazing team!

Lost Dog Consultant

Remote role, primarily speaking with pet owners over the phone while educating & guiding them in the rescue of their lost dog. You also may be part of the trapping process and leading a team of field rescuers on a specific case.

Field Rescue Crew

Be a part of our field team helping to track, trap & rescue lost dogs! This can also involve helping to pick up a trapped dog in a trap & helping to return the trapped dog safely to their home.

Event Planning & Fundraising Crew

Do you have experience with event planning or big scale fundraising? If so, we'd love to have you join our crew & help us create a lasting legacy!

Educational Programs & Community Outreach

Do you have a passion for public speaking? Do you enjoy giving presentations? If so, we are looking for volunteers to go to public speaking engagements that we are asked to attend and help spread the word about our organization & teach the community about ways they can prevent their dog from getting lost.

Flyer Creation

Help create flyers for pet owners

Drone Operator

There are instances where it may sometimes be useful to have eyes on the sky during a rescue mission. (We do not provide drones soo you would need to provide your own drone.)

Scout

We're building a small team of Scout Volunteers who can occasionally check different areas where at‑risk stray dogs or an owner lost dog have been reported being sighted. This is an ongoing volunteer role that helps us respond faster and make safe, informed decisions for both the dog and our rescue team.

What Scout Volunteers do:

  • Take a quick look at an area where a dog has been seen
  • Note things like foot traffic, noise, access points, and general safety
  • Share a brief update so we can determine the best rescue strategy
  • No interaction with the dog required
  • No experience needed — we’ll guide you
